lol 98% out of 100 GPA is a bit too much,
my Indian high school grades will fail pathetically if they are compared to THAT!

gee.....am I the only one around with a sat score that doesn't touch 2100.

theonecurlyfairy...........how on earth did you get a 800 on cr and only 670 on writing?? ever thought about sitting again ...you could get a better score on writing for sure

98 out of 100?????haru 07 ...mark my words mate..you're in..

I'm TheOneCurlyFRY, not Fairy :P.

My essay sucked, builtfordakill. I got 6 MC answers wrong, as well. I don't want to sit again, I'm okay with my score.

sorry mate....slip of tongue...hehe....
thats what matters...you should be satisfied I guess rather than anybody else

I'm not really in because I'm applying for fin.aid--if I'm lucky I might get the full 4-year scholarship. I'm gonna write a killer essay for that, fosho..

i/m applyin for aid too.....hope that doesn't make a big difference......especially if you got good stats to show for yourself.......well best of luck with your essay

Pakistani, applying for financial aid....

SAT II Math Level 2 760, Physics 750, Chemistry 740... (Dont take phy chem courses at school)
Grades: best AS (junior year) result in the history of the school (which is among the best in Pakistan), most demanding course load blah blah...

"our best candidate by far, highly recommended"... Nice common app essay, have to write the oberlin supplement essay....

So... where do i stand??

are you guys mostly attend international schools? When i was in Taiwan, the grading system was totally different. WE didn't get to choose classes. And there were no ECs available whatsoever. JUst study study study study study. Test scores were the only thing that mattered.

Laughing at theonecurlyFAIRY

oh yes, and why did you pick oberlin? I mean if i were applying from another country, i wouldn't risk applying ED (assuming some of you did) to a small school that takes a unique student to appreciate this unique school.

I'm in an international school--but Eng. is my 3rd lang. Really hard to get ECs and awards as well.

betterday55...I didn't get you mate.....well you were right in your assumption(I applied for ed!!) but whats the risk...I mean its a plus point ain't it????you show your commitment in addtion to your application and stuff
