International Applicants! Updates on WA?

What I think is that since they will make the decision by april 15th...they are going to send out acceptances until then, and then waitlist all the other deferees on april 15th...

Thanks midgets & MightyNick! I think everyone should have some sort of decision by April 15. I think that's when the last round of applicants were getting them last year. GOOD LUCK TO ALL!

QNYgirl, I guess that means you are not staying in NY? You are leaving. Where will you end up? I am telling you. We are a new generation. 80 years ago, people come to america hoping to find a stable job and better living conditions--to take advantage of the economy. Look at the people who have accomplished the american dream. they came here and working from the bottom up, saved money, and opened a business. That was the american dream, to come here, work hard, and build a foundation, a successful enterprise ( be it a restaurant, a store , or whatever). This has certainly changed over recent years. The new american dream is now being chased by teenagers. Young people whose dream is to do well academically and go to a prestigious university. Not to open a business or provide by their family, but to enter the workforce as mainstream americans. What about those in between, who are first generation immigrants and arrived here <7 years ago and are now going to an oos university? In the future, will we conduct an americanized or culturally rooted household? That questions baffles me.

What the heck? Where did this come from?

You can't make such a generalized statement like that. There are TONS of people staying in smaller state schools, and probably gonna continue on business their parents started. Half of my business class are filled with people who want to start a new business, or will be taking over one.

hehehe, you took that seriously?

Oh that was such a good joke , I forgot to laugh.

Huh?!? Did I miss something? I'm confused...

frasifrasi, I actually left NY already (I go to school in Boston) and I'm probably going even further away to Michigan next year. Shame on me, I know.
