I love languages (learning Spanish in school and French on my own) and have decided this is a good major, and a Finance minor. Ideas? Suggestions? Advice? Thanks!

I think that’s a really good idea. I think a finance major with a Spanish or French minor might be good too, and finance is more quant heavy, which is what is valuable in obtaining a job.

Good to know it’s not an absurd, or stupid, idea! I’ve been heavily researching it and it seems like the way to go (for me at least). It is nice to know I have an idea going into college (in a year) :P

I’m planning to major in global business, its global at my school not international, and minor in economics. They require a language, I will take french. Your idea is a good one. You will be above regular business majors.
