International Business

I was thinking hard about international business and it's something I want to seriously major in. Just my biggest concern is people say it is very broad and not a good major, but I believe there is so much you can do with this major. It was either this or finance. But finance seems to difficult to me because I suck at math. I just want to know everyone else 's opinion about IB , Is it a good major? And if so what can I minor along with it?

Chinese? Japanese? Spanish?

That’s not the answer I was looking for… I was thinking maybe something with economics or finance? I can just take a language class. I’d rather not minor in it

You generally don’t minor in something in the same department or in a closely parallel field. Some schools probably even have rules against that. For example, I know a number of schools that don’t allow a double major in both psychology and neuroscience - I’m sure they would be opposed to a major-minor combo as well.

I’m sure there are schools that allow it, but the idea behind the double major or a minor is to show expertise in more than one area. Everyone expects business majors to have taken econ and finance courses, usually multiple ones.

Oh okay… Thank you !! Is there anything else I can minor in like maybe communications?
