Also, I heard that Michigan usually rejects any international applicants who apply for financial aid. Is that true?
And how much does it cost for International student to attend Michigan?
(I heard different amounts.. some said $38000, others $47000... etc..)

Thx in advance.

Your chances are pretty good it seems..but you have to include your 10th grade grades too. International students I believe tuition the same as Out of state students..which is about 38,000. I dont know about michigan rejecting international students applying for finaid, but I know you pretty much won't get anything from them..so dont count on that.

ahh. Ok.
my Grade 10 marks are by the way...:
Biology 11 IB - 93%
Mathematics 11 IB - 98%
Social Studies Enriched - 95%
Science 10 - 95%
English Enriched - 90%
Physical Education - 97%
Career Planning - 96%
Senior Jazz Band - 93%

You can definitely get in. Tuition is same as OOS , around 34/35000. Although tuition is rising every year.

And yes most international applicants for financial aid , get shot down. They even mention it on the website , that being of intl student status will most prob result in you not getting financial aid , but they give out loans of some sort.

Your standardized testing results are phenomenal. You have a decent shot at all top colleges in the US( Harvard, Yale , Princeton ). Those colleges have very generous financial aid programs for international students. Princeton has a policy: If you get in, you get to go. I believe all Princeton grads do not have a cent of debt upon graduation. Michigan, on the other hand, will not give a cent in financial aid to international students. Private schools don't care about your nationality.

Yeah i agree with that. HYP are generous with their financial aid to international students and are also need blind.

Thx for the replies, but I think I will be at a huge disadvantage since I am Asian at Ivies. Maybe I should research more in to Liberal Arts programs.
