international CI?

Hey
There's a list of dates in the acceptance letter for CI. Does anyone know whether any of these dates include the CI for international students? If not, what is the date for the international CI?
I'm a US citizen but i've been living abroad my whole life, so I think i fall in the international CI category.....

International CI is a few days before the start of the semester. I think you have to call to register for it specially though. If you are living abroad now it probably makes sense to go to international CI so that you don't have to spend the money to travel here for just a few days in the summer.

oh i see, maybe i'll email undergrad admissions and ask about that

another question though: is there a difference between international CI and regular CI?

Technically you do the same activities, but I think there is definitely a different feel to international CI. You move directly into your dorm for the year before most people move in, and you're sort of in a mindset of having to worry about getting all moved in instead of having the excitement of getting an early "taste" of GW and meeting your classmates. That being said, it's not the end of the world- I know a lot of people who didn't really like the summer CI either. Just do whatever is most convenient for you; there's plenty of time during school to meet people and get advice about classes/living at GW.
