For several of my classes, I have been looking online for the books I will need next semester. While looking, I have come across "international" editions of my books. These books are cheaper and claim that they have the exact same content and page numbers, but different isbns and covers. Does anybody here have experience with "international editions" and if so how were they.

Yes, they are exactly as described. Cheap junky paper, but same page numbers, text, and diagrams. Just don't expect to be able to sell them back to your bookstore.

Content-wise, they are no different from "non-international" editions. However, based on my experience, if you buy used, then they are not significantly cheaper than "non-international" editions.

I got the international edition of two of my books. They're great. I bought them new and saved a total of about $100 off the used U.S. versions.
