I understand that international undergraduate students on F-1 visa can work for 12months in US after graduation under the Optional Practical Training (OPT). Are graduate students entitled to the same? (say, if i pursue 1 year master's directly after my 4 years undergrad in US)

I'm a former international student who finished my Master's degree and had a year of OPT. As I understand it, once your next degree is above the one you did OPT on before, then you are eligible for another round of OPT on an F-1 visa. Therefore if you did OPT as an undergrad and then do a masters you are eligible for OPT again. However, to get OPT again at the graduate level you would need to do a PhD in order to be eligible a third time. Hope this helps :)
