<p>I'm Canadian and I applied to Stern for EDI. I have a high GPA (straight A's) but moderately low SATs for Stern (2170). Given that my EC's are okay (nothing spectacular) and essays above average, do you guys think I stand a chance?</p>

<p>That SAT is average, not below. Your 4.0GPA assuming you have As will make you a good candidate.</p>
<p>2170 SAT is average, which is good. Your GPA, assuming you got all As (not sure if that includes A-) should be 3.75-4.0 UW, which is also good. I’d say you’re a very good candidate; assuming that your course load has been equivalent to honors/APs, etc.</p>
<p>Thank you guys do much! Yes, I am enrolled in full IB, which is the hardest curriculum offered in my school. Hopefully I will really get to attend Stern!</p>

I got a 7 for math SL and a 7 for biology SL, predicted for 6’s in all my other subjects, plus 2 for TOK
I sent in my predicted IB grades too, don’t really know how they will be looked at… Or if they’re good really…
I hope the admins will like my application, but because I’m international, I think I have to compete against really good candidates in Canada first…
