International IB student applying for McGill

Hi all,

I am an international IB year 2 student in Hong Kong. When I first chose my IB options, I was opting for a broad pathway hence took the following subjects:
HL: Maths, Business Management, Chemistry
SL: Biology, English, French

However, over the course of time I realised I was interested in studying life sciences and for most universities Biology and Chemistry at HL are a prerequisite. Also my Maths grades were poor, bringing my total down a lot. At the end of IB year 1, I swapped my options and took the following:
HL: Biology, Business Management, Chemistry
SL: Maths, English, French

Due to the last minute swaps my predicted grades are not confirmed yet and I will be doing a test next week to get a predicted grade for my Biology HL. I did one maths SL test under exam conditions and got 100% however that grade won’t be accounted for hence I will be doing a maths test next week as well. Considering all those, at the end of IB year 1 - my grades stand as:
Chem, Business - 6,6
English, French - 7,6
I am surely getting a 7 for maths and probably getting a 6 for bio. I was predicted 6 for SL bio. I will be discussing my chem and business grades with my teachers and probably pushing at least one of them to a 7. At the moment the TOK and EE grade is assumed as a 2.
Hence my total stands at - 40

Based on these, can I please get some opinions on my chances at McGill for Biochemistry?

Thanks a lot for taking reading!

Thanks @TomSrOfBoston for the link. I have already checked the links and every other information they provide for IB applicants. I wanted an opinion on my chances from the members here not a reference to facts and statistics. But thanks for your reply!
