Tufts is not a safety for anyone, and if you're going to lump your schools into groups, Tufts would be at the same level as Rice, WUSTL, Brown. You need to learn a little more about the schools you're applying to, it sounds like.

You are a very weak international applicant.

Stanford: REJECT
Rice: Unlikely
Wash U: Unlikely
Brown: REJECT
Boston u: In
University of central florida: In
Tufts: Unlikely

Obviously Gaffe must be kidding.

Your clear safety is UCF, your low match (near safety) is BU. The others are hard to get into for everyone but your stats put you in the running. You just have to make sure you put a lot of time into personalizing each application for each separate school so that they feel you have a genuine particular interest in them -- that'll make you stand out in a crowd of applicants that all have similar stats/grades as you.

Are you French? Japenese. For the first generation thing they are looking for kids from poverty, living internationally is unusual there.

You also don't say if you need aid, it makes a huge difference.
