I was accepted, but no aid.

Is there any chance of getting?

I know that the e-mail said that they did not expect to get any, but is that just diplomatic to stop people (like me) e-mailing (like I have done) for some if it turns up? Some aid MUST be freed up come May 1 though, as some Int students who have been accepted with aid choose to go elsewhere? Thoughts please?

I am wondering too. Did they reply you?

Yeah they did. Diplomatic ********, as expected. I am going there soonish and I will try talk to them; it is far harder to say NO to someone in person than it is via email. This is the reply I got:

Thank you for contacting the Office of Financial Aid and Student Employment. Though the funding for accepting 2010-2011 international freshman applicants has already been allocated, we appreciate you notifying us that you would still be interested. Since you have not received financial aid from Cornell, we encourage you to investigate possible funding sources from your home country. We are deeply sorry that we are not able to provide you with financial aid from Cornell University.
