Couple questions regarding CBA... I've done some research on this International Business track and was just wondering if anyone have any personal experiences with the IPBS program and would like to share. It seems like a pretty intense program.
I'm currently admitted as a International Affairs Major but, I'm still unsure if IA is the way to go. So, I was thinking of doing IA Freshman year and if it doesn't work out then switch to International Business in CBA. The questions is, would I be lagging behind the CBA sophomores if I transfer from IA? Would I be able to transfer into this IPBS program in my 2nd year?

International Business is one of the hardest programs to transfer into, second to maybe only Nursing (since you can’t go into Pharm). I tried to transfer after my first semester, and she said she wouldn’t even consider it unless I took four courses towards it and even then she said it would be a tough chance (and I came in with a lot of credit). I ended up liking econ, two of the classes I took that semester, so I didn’t actually go for the transfer- but it is a very tough transfer. It isn’t just about “lagging behind”. They won’t LET you lag behind, and if they think you will, they won’t let you in. CBA is hard enough to get in, but BSIB is really really structured- so you CAN’T lag.
