Hiya Everyone,

I got accepted to Colby College ED and am really excited about going. I had two questions though one is more of me being a worrywart than anything else. What is the international 'view' exactly at Colby? I'm an Expat and I haven't lived in the US for 12 years, so I'm very very out of touch with my American roots and a little nervous going back. 2nd Question: Is the food all hamburgers and fries or do we get some other kinds of food?

haha! There is QUITE the variety of food here. you'll love it =). Also, there should be no worries about being an expay, you'll either pick up or have your traditions accepted (whichever you choose).

hey i know im not exactly replying to this message but i was wondering the same thing as you about internationalism at colby. im an expat as well and i've lived overseas my entire life so we'll pretty much be in the same boat next year. im really hoping that people at colby are fairly international just cause i'd feel a little more at home that way.

Colby has put a lot of energy and money into beefing up its international focus, and attracting very strong int'al candidates. Almost 13% of the Class of 2010 is international, large enough a group to create momentum and cultural diversity. The school sent its international/dual citizens a mailing describing the extra support/activities available to them.
