I have just graduated from college in Europe, having studied Law and Political Science. I'm looking into Phds in Political Science and would love to get accepted into a program in the US (my interests lie primarily in US foreign policy and the role of women in international development).
I graduated with a first class honours, and my GPA roughly corresponds to 3.8 overall (3.89 in Political Science and 3.7 in Law) based online conversion sites. I did 2 NGO-type internships whilst in college, and will be doing a research internship this year in an Irish based national political organisation. I also came 2nd overall in my class in Political Science and completed an undergraduate dissertation.
I was just wondering if anyone had any indication of what my chances may be of acceptance to a poli sci Phd program at schools like GW, Georgetown, Duke or UC Berkeley, or any suggestions of potentially suitable programs?
Thanks in advance!
