oh well, after some very very hectic days with my olympiad, after not qualifying for the NMO this year, partly because of some stupid things my math teacher was responsible for, I've just got my first decision e-mail from Oberlin, saying that I had a very strong application, but that they can't accept me bacause of my financial need :(. dunno if they said that just to encourage me, or if that's the truth.... I'm new in the domain of decision letters.
anyway, I can also complete the list now....
ps:I'm having some trouble with my browser, so I can't copy paste, can someone else do this for me? :p

Oh, I'm so sorry, Lakshmi!!! HUGS YOU TIGHT I don't know whether it's good or bad that they told you why they couldn't accept you. I think it's the truth. You seem like a very strong applicant from what I've seen. Sucks money is such the divider! HUGS YOU TIGHT AGAIN AND HANDS YOU LOTS AND LOTS OF CHOCOLATES

And being the nerd I am, decided to do this alphabetically. :p

LOL, izzy again!! :p I remember you compiled the list again after missing out my name arh!! :)

To everyone waiting for their decision which will come in like about a week, I wish you all the best!! Good Luck!! Going travelling from tomorrow night and to a very rural area that might not have internet access and wont be back so soon Regardless of the outcome, yea move on with life man because life is definitely more about admissions. :p

Lakshimi, I am surprised that Obelin didnt accept you, but I am sure you will get in a better school ! Whatever they wrote it's specifically for you because I just received a rejection letter from them and it was plain and simple, not like yours. BTW with your permission guys I would prefer not to have my rejections posted on our RD thread. Too depressing especially since I applied to so many schools! hihi :D
Izzy, I wanted to ask you if you had a MoHo interview coz on my status it still shows that an admission interview is required.
Ronty, when are we getting any decisions from you??
I wish Good luck to everybody !!!
Off topic: I recently had my ear pierced with a needle, not piercing gun coz I found out that piercing guns are NOT safe. It pained like hell but its better to be safe than sorry.:)

Lakshmi & Elisa, Oberlin College has just lost 2 wonderful candidates by not accepting you all. Its a bad omen for them. :(
Elisa, I will get my decisions soon.... Keeping my fingers crossed! :) Help me god

Elisa, yeah, sure, I won't write your rejections. No need to ask our permission. Just tell us. :D Boss us around. Sorry about Oberlin. They stink.

Stinkers.

Hmmmm.....I had no MHC interview...requested none... God, do not tell me they have an alumni here in R'nia...I didn't request one because I didn't know if they would have one here... (and because the deadline was two days away from when I was doing my Supplement! :p)

thanks guys for all your support. the lousy thing is that my first admission decision after the one from ED was a rejection...oh well.... still some more schools left so I shouldn't worry that much. it's just that I sometimes feel I've only applied to top-notch scools that I don't stand a chance with, but on the other hand, to others schools I wouldn't stand a chance because of my major need of fin aid... these 2 weeks left are killing me... most of my very important schools are giving their result on the 30th...
thanks for the chocolate Izzy :D

well Lakshmi.. that was a bad way to tell someone about their app outcome .. whatever it is i think we are all unanimous here in the quality of your application being Really splendid... well if u do remember u were the one to giv all hopes in ED round..

""
Its not all over till its the end.. and the end would never be the first to arrive.. so well wait till the end of this journey and then be the king on the road .. for the best lies in the farthest corner of the road..
loads of good news await the mighty warrior princess who is getting stronger with tiny miny letters of strength.. ""

Just got the snail mail confirmation of the IIT( chicago illinois)... 10 k /yr for 4 yr scholarship confirmation... hehe though came a bit late( 1 months 10 days .. and but i knew of it already)

Hey congrats Smartmind !!!! When are you getting the award from Purdue?
Lizzy, when I log in my Smith application at Student Financial Services Information Menu I see my awards offered by Smith for 2006-2007.Its same for you and for everyone else?Does it mean anything good ?;) hehe

well if u see awards for your account.. then sure a gud news..
purdue .. i dunno.lets c.. actually as of what i have been told .. since my scholarship app was late ( atleast for intels) maybe it wont be considerd..
