I have a deep interest in both subjects, and aside from my username (I know, I know, it says Princeton), I’d really be delighted to attend Georgetown Class of 2020.
Could I apply to the international relations program at Georgetown and pursue pre-med? I know that pre-med isn’t a major, so I’m sure at schools like Johns Hopkins you can do something like this.
Please and thank you!!
If you chose the Science, Technology, & International Affair (STIA) major in the Foreign Service School, it might be possible: “It may be possible to combine the basic premedical requirements with any School of Foreign Service major provided the student is willing to use some of the electives and/or take some classes in summer school. Much of the required work in basic science dovetails with the curriculum of the Science, Technology and International Affairs (STIA) major.” http://bsfs.georgetown.edu/academics/majors/stia/requirements
Georgetown also offer a biology option in the “Biology of Global Health”: https://biology.georgetown.edu/undergraduate/globalhealth
The BS in International Health (School of Nursing & Health Studies) also permits completion of the premed requirements: https://nhs.georgetown.edu/internationalhealth/bachelors
