Hello everyone,

I graduated from a state school with a 3.2 GPA (BA in International Studies). I have 15 months of study abroad experience in emerging markets and speak a foreign language fluently. I will be serving in the Peace Corps for two years and plan on attending graduate school afterwards.

What are the best IR programs you think I could be admitted to with these credentials?

Thanks in advance.

definitely look into the Peace Corp Fellows Program list of schools that provide substantial scholarships for Peace Corps veterans.
Based off your credentials/interests I’d suggest you look at University of Denver (Korbel school - choose from global finance/trade/economic integration, international development, or international studies), Monterey Institute of International Studies (International Policy Studies), and Fordham University (International Political Economy/Development). All have programs that are either member schools or affiliated schools with the APSIA (Assn. for Professional Schools of International Affairs, essentially a sign of prestige/strength of their IR program) and provide fellowships/$ to returned peace corps volunteers

Is there any chance I can get into a DC school?
