International Relations Summer Programs

Does anyone know of any summer programs that deal with International Relations, Political Science, or Diplomacy that they think are really good? Please just continue the list.

I have heard of:
The Junior Statesmen Summer School
The International Affairs Summer Enrichment Program at Howard
Rotary Ambassadorial Program

Harvard Summer School/Harvard Extension School, for classes.

Try to get an internship on the Hill too. I think the deadline is March 15 for Washington Center internships.

I've done the Junior Statemen Summer School- it's great if you can afford it. If you can't, try a symposium, it was a lot of fun and I learned a lot about LA goverment. (they have a variety of programs all over the US)

I applied to Junior Statesman Summer School for Princeton, and was accepted with a scholarship. But I knocked that off my rack for an Anti Defamation League Internship in NYC. I called the program, and they said that they will reserve that seat for me for next summer. I am attending. I hope I have a good time. I also want to go into international relations legally.

Apply to be a Congressional page...if you can get the job, you actually get paid!! And you get to see the U.S. Government working up close!

Brookings does some excellent work in IR, but it's extremely competitive for undergrads. Council on Foreign Relations is good. Also consider Woodrow Wilson.

If you have any interest at all in security, consider CSIS.
