I'm looking to pursue International Relations in college. I was wondering which schools featured worthwhile programs in the field of IR. While I'm aware of the fact that several ivy league schools are home to some of the best IR programs, I simply do not have the stats for them. Which high mid level or mid level schools have the best international relations programs?

Before answering this, you should post a few things about what you’d like out of a college. What can you afford? If you don’t know, ask your parents exactly what they can contribute. Also indicate if what they can contribute is far below what colleges will expect them to pay.
-What size school would you prefer? Liberal arts college, medium sized university, or big state school?
-Where would you like the school to be? Urban/suburban/rural? Region of country?
-What’s your home state?
-What are your stats? SAT? Course rigor? GPA unweighted and weighted?
- Any special requests? For example, is greek life acceptable? Would you like a more religious environment? D1 sports? Basically anything you’d like out of a college.

Without knowing this information, recommendations can range from University of Mississippi’s Croft Institute to Macalaster College.
