Wondering if Duke offers IR as an undergrad programme. The closest thing it seems to have is econs+pol science. Is that the case?

Within the political science degree there is a track on international relations, and as a political science major, you can make your focus international relations. Additionally, Duke is trying to reformat their international & comparative area studies program-- though not entirely fundamentally the same as an IR program, it will share some similarities, last that I've heard. But no-- it doesn't have a specific degree in international relations.

Just do econ/poli sci, and try to focus on becoming proficient in a foreign language, and getting a good history background (not necessarily needed for IR, but I think it's important).

hey thanks guys

International Comparative Studies is essentially the same thing, except you need to use your electives for public policy/political science classes and use the IR track in poliscience
