International SAT 2 Math IIC Discussion!

Just finished the test. What did y'all think? I thought it was easier than expected, yet the last couple of q's were relatively difficult. Skipped...

Discussion thread for this test

Is the international version the same as the US version? I’m taking the test tomorrow and just want to know how difficult it was.

What were your hardest questions? I felt that it was extremely easy.

I hope our American version tomorrow will be just as easy!!

I felt the last 3 questions were tricky for me.
mind you that i’m not a person especially strong or interested in math
@superbBlast

What were they about?

Easily got 800 on the practice test I did yesterday…

Only did 40 questions today :’(. Don’t know what happened. I just wasn’t feeling a “flow” of the exam at all.

@Maxyend: I felt like the last 10 questions were super hard

any questions bothering you guys? we’re out now.

Does anyone know the answer to question 49? I think it was E

What was the question?

Left the polar coordinates question blank because we never covered that in my high school curriculum (currently in calc BC). Also left the probability question with the two alarms blank. Missed one other question for sure. Hoping for a nicer curve because this was harder than both official practice tests I took.

It was the one that provided a figure with two functions sketched and asked values for f(x) after adding a number “a” to x

The polar coordinates annswer was E, and the one about probability I think it was A

I got E for 49, because it was just saying that the slope of F > slope of G, and thats untrue at small X’s (like 0.25), where F’ was 1, and G’ was obviously greater.

Great! I did it the other way, saw that all the other answer choices were right so didn’t even look at E.

Same lol. My dad explained it to me at home. I thought it looked like derivative format, but wasn’t sure bc its supposed to be /x-a. Then I remembered its the same for both lol. What did you get for the plane M and circle C question. I struggled… I think I, got 169.something

I actually got 339 for that one. I considered that it was a circle whose radius was the large side of a triangle with hypotenuse 12 and smaller side 6… So the radius squared was 108 multiplied by pi = 339 approx.

but then divided by 2 because its a semicircle :P

the probability is 1-(probability of neither going off)

Why divide by 2? It’s not a semicircle
