International SAT I and II results!

hawker stalls have become a malaysian way of life. businessmen, housewives, teenagers, everyone goes there. it's not a place "for a select group of people" at all.

who cares if one or two tragic accidents occur because a silly driver rams into the table placed outside these stalls? MPs (members of parliament) amkes noise whever death occurs, but by day two, everyone is back onto eating on teh roadside, exposed to danger.

Yeah, the guards are so paranoid about people entering campus on the weekend. And we started late anyway because people are always late or registration takes a LONG time or something comes up.

:( I'm really regretting not staying until after all three SAT II's were over and having the chance of meeting you, Lakshmi! groans and hits pillow I mean, it would be sooo cool to meet another CC'er, you know??

: ))) hugs You'll rock that December and don't worry, we'll cheer you on during that time!!

Banedon: I'm unsure if your second paragraph is REALLY sarcastic. My sarcasm meter broke last year when a friend commented "The SAT is really fun!!". :D

Sometimes it IS a little irresponsible when tables overflow onto the roads, but...well...I can't really think of something to say...

I miss the way of life. It's unhealthy if it's 24 hours, cause most ppl should be a-sleeping at 3 am or something, but it's...like...our version of an Irish pub! Especially when soccer/European football games are on and there's a widescreen TV!

yeah, I know it would've been fun meeting each other.but anyway, it was a really nice coincidence the way you, your friend and I were aranged in the classroom. I always had the impression you were looking at me and wanted to say something to you, then realized you were in fact smiling to your friend and gave it up :(. I'm really sorry about that.
don't worry : ))) . you'll do ok. I'm retaking it in nov. and haven't studied at all for it till now. still have to get ready all my app. :(

well, I guess that if we won't manage to reach the 20th page by tomorrow, at least we'll get there by aftertomorrow when everyone will know their results.

I'm sorry I made you give up. shrinks into self I was trying to gauge my frriend's mood since she had forgotten her ID and needed to sit the Oct seating since applying ED to JHU. Thank goodness our counselor found a clause that allowed her to sit it!

We have school break until Nov 2nd. Then for those taking the SAT Nov. 5, I wonder if their brains would be warmed up as it could be... I don't really see kids at my school going all out on SAT prep. Eh, laissez-faire.

omg! so cool! school break! I have to get a metical certificate to demonstrate I had seriuos reasons to skip school. it's a serius illness you know. it's named "Brown application procrastination" :p

hey what's this about meeting each other??

Well, with my appendicitis operation, I would've stayed out of school until the 28th, anyway. chortling So actually, I lose the advantage. grrrrr

Hmmm, Laksmi. Do you know whether the doctor who signed your "Brown application procrastination" med form has partners who could sign for other diseases such as "Mt. Holyoke application pros.." or other such strains? :D

well, yes, I'm in romania too, and I took my oct sat at the same test center as Izzy, still we didn't talk to one another. we just didn't have the chance :(. but we were like one meter apart in the testing room :)

Banedon, a few days before the Oct 8 SAT, I had joined CC and Laksmi and I noticed we both lived in Romania. Yay. And that she was taking the SAT's in Bucharest, at my school. Yay. Unfortunately we had crossed wires and were unable to meet each other on the actual day. (I was unsure as to Lakshmi was male or female...blush) I had only taken 2 SAT II's and she took all 3 so I left early.

Oh, the passed opportunity! Hey, maybe you should see my play!

sigh i could smack the both of you. in the same testing centre and yet....

can't. I'm not taking my nov test in Bucarest full of sorrow . I'm taking it in Arad.remember we had that talk about Arad?. I so wish I could :(

hey was wondering when tommorow comes should i start a new thread or we stick to this one and let it grow?

No, the play is December 1, 2 and 3rd. (I know...Romanian National Day...!!!)

Banedon: I'm sorrrry!!!! Believe me, I regret it. I was wondering whether to yell out during the bathroom break "who here is Lakshmi?!?" (with horrendous pronounciation, most probably) but I needed to pee...

i say: STICK TO THIS!

well if you wouldn't have gone to the bathroom we would've talked. but I just ran outside th classroom, when I saw you and your friend just disappearing:(. that's it :( anyway...dunno if I can come to Bucharest then. just wondering, are you leaving for winter break to Malaysia, or are you staying in Romania?

me too! so that we can get to the 20th page !!!

Yeah...drank too much water (was sick the entire week w/ low b.p.)

Staying in Romania. My other sister is coming from uni to visit us. :D First time whole family together since..2002.

Lakshmi happy for Izzy I so wish I could come to Bucharest during winter break. a good friend of mine is coming back from univ and he lives in Bucharest. I so wish I could meet him :) still dunno what the chances are.
