I got bad scores:
Math 2c 770
biology 720

banedon I also want your scores!!!!! I'd kill to have a 700 on the CR section!!!!!!! sigh

Deference: What are you talking about??? That is NOT bad! 700+ is Bio is GOOD. shaking you And your math is damn impressive, too!

Perfectionists, all of you!!!!

Lakshmi: ...what about me? weeps

yeah Izzy... I know you also had an extra mega good score on the CR section. so envious on you guys! :(

banedon, yes, you can take a pic of me while I'm jumping through the window and then use it for my obituary. And you should be proud of me - it's 11.45pm and I'm not in bed :)

Lakshmi and others: I am sorry for my last post. That was really insensitive and attention-grubbing of me. Urgh. Truth be told, I'd rather have a high math score (SAT I and SAT II) cause it's much more impressive. And...well, somewhat "expected" since I'm Asian and obviously I don't live up to expectations. Grr. So I tend to rub in my CR grades. I am really sorry.

you're nothing to be sorry about...that's the truth and we can all handle the truth :)
ot at least I've learned to deal with it.

want to hear a joke? :D

OK,my Math score is not so terrible at all.Anyway,I can't stand my 'new' critical reading score. What should I do now?

A joke please!
(Please not a corny one like "What did the skeletons say before being burried? Bone appetit!" Because If you DO write these kind of joke, everybody will hate you, thus You have to say that freakin "Bone appetit" (just because of that stupid "bone appetit" (damn, what a powerful word that is)))

I hate CR!!! GOD I JUST HATE CR THEY ARE THE WORST STUFF THAT CAN EVER HAPPEN TO A FREAKIN SENIOR WHO WANNA APPLY TO THE BEST SCHOOLS IN THIS FREAKIN WORLD!!!!!!!!!
Math is ok tho. haha~!

can anyone tell me here if a 720 biology and 770 math 2c is worth retaking if I want apply for Ivies, vassar, williams etc

Deference - 720 bio - good
770 maths 2c - ok..
For maths 2c, you can omit 8 questions and still get 800 right? Chances are, in high ivies, most will probably have 790-800 maths 2c. But don't worry! It's not like as if they are gonna say, "oh look he has 770, 30 points away from the perfect score! lets reject him!"
Honestly, they will look at 770, the same as 780. Ivies don't really weigh much on SAT scores. It's the little schools you should be worried about like Lehigh and stuff. But 770 is great for Lehigh so eh.. you don't have to worry about your sats!

banedon, is your joke the one about the glass thing in the CCcafe forum? or is it supposed to be a question (the one in the cc forum)? grr do i even make sense

I felt horrible after getting low 700s on my SAT IIs.. and I thought I;d never get anywher!
guys, i know its hard to blv, but at the end of the day, they're just a bunch of numbers. I'd say put in effort on your essays - they're your ticket to your dream school! Trust me! =)

I want a joke :)

If you don't have anything under 650 (or even 600),you would go through.;)

the day after tomorrow will be the deadline for the SAT in december...

I still have to take the Chemistry SAT II test in december, so whether I retake it or not, I will go to the testcentre in december
but I dont feel like to get trough all those Math and biology books before retaking it... So if it's really not necessary, I won't retake the two

got this from reader's digest:

A guy (A) was convicted and sent to prison. one day all the inmates in the different cells in the same place were playing some sort of a game. One of them would shout a number and everyone would roar with laughter. Perplexed, A asked his cellmate what was going on. His cellmate said, "Here we have very little for entertainment, so we pass the time by telling each other jokes. But over time the jokes became very familiar and we assigned a number for each joke, so that one would just have to shout a number to tell the joke."

A thought this was very interesting, so he decided to join in the fun. He shouted a random number, "132!!" and to his surprise, the whole prison shook with laughter. His cellmate, teary-eyed, said to him, "We've never heard that one before."

laughing ;) :D

....don't get it... :( feels dumb
