International SAT I and II results!

yeah, we would't need such high SAT scores..... and we would all be together....and...and...I would be in charge of the library :D :p

Oooh, could we have very comfy sofas in the library?? And free-for-all printing access? (Or mostly free-for-all..)

Hmm...should we have a minimum number of posts made in the Int'l Students Forum as part of the admission for International CC'ers Uni?

I also want to be in charge of the canteen. I would give the cooks a recipe for Bulgarian banitsa and then enjoy eating it all the time :D

Oooh....

Hey, did ANYBODY here get an email (around Oct. 11) from...I think the American University in Bulgaria (AUBG) saying they got your SAT I scores from CB.com, that you were one of the successful SAT scorers and they'd like you to apply? I asked some kids at school whether they did, too, but they said no. But maybe it's cause they're Romanian and since Romania/Bulgaria are neighbors, they want to increase their diversity (haha, I'm Asian) and it says so on my CB.com profile.

Freaking thing is, I took the SAT I in MAY, and on Oct 8 I had taken the SAT II instead of the SAT I. Freaky time delay...

I got a letter (not email) a few days ago but that was maybe because I had my scores sent there when I registered for the TOEFL and for the SAT I and I received my TOEFL score report 2 or 3 weeks ago. But my letter basically says some stuff about the university... bla bla.

BTW, it's a very good school. Not as good as the American ones we're applying to but I doubt there's a better university on the Balkan peninsula and even in Eastern europe and I think it costs about $6000 per year. Not to mention the beautiful mountains around it :) (time for commercials :D)

Weird. I never sent any scores to AUBG. I visited their website. It looks like a nice, clean university, but I'd be worried about whether or not my government recognizes it (to get government scholarship) and majors of choice.

I didn't get anything....:( nobody loves me... crawls to one corner

I HATE their website! There's almost nothing on it!

:) Don't worry, banedon, they don't let students be canteen operators. We'd better all stay at International CCers University.

btw, if I registered for the October SAT I by paper, can I see my scores online? I registered online for the November tests and in my account there's nothing about the SAT I

let's see. you can see your scores online even if you registered by paper. but you will need to open an account first on CB.com. but since you registered onlino,e it means you have an account. in that case just wait for 24th to appear and there comes your scores!

thanks! But I can't wait :( I had to wait about 40 days for my TOEFL score and it wasn't that bad... but now... 10 days left! I'm so impatient! For the November SAT scores we'll have to wait 11 or 12 days, not 16

FORTY days for your TOEFL score? I waited aroudn 3 weeks, I think. (And the website had 2 weeks! BAH!)

Hey, at least you won't be having an appendictis operation before you get your SAT scores...ain't nothing ****ter than havin' two bad things happen at the same time.

And banedon - WE love you. They dont' know you; college/uni recruiters are money-grubbing assh*les. Souless!

LOL appendicitis operationtear... while waiting for the SAT scores tear... completing application forms in the hospital bed tear... spending the whole day in the hospital dreaming about X college... tear again. Nice essay :D

Lakshmi's right - we're getting pretty affectionate. Not bad :D I can imagine what a fun it would be if we all got into the same university :D

oops... it seems I've put too many gren smileys

laugh It's not life-and-death operation, unfortunately... But if something freaky should happen on the operating table... wiggling eyebrows Who knows?? Maybe I won't be missing from the CC board for a few days but more! tears

We should find one university all of us are interested in APPLYING to, even if we don't get in or don't want to go to if we got in...one with either cheap fees or great finaid and low competitiveness. Hell, are those even COMPATIBLE? :P:

Argh! How do you make the emoticon with the sticking out of tongue??

: p :p hehe

:p
hmmm..so why didn't it work before??

Edit: Cause I was using capital "P" instead...Thanks aaron!

Izzy, hope everything turns out alright!
btw, for me too it took a long time to figure out why I couldn't get that sticking the tongue out emoticon... :p
I don't think we could be able to find such a univ.... so we could be all together( it would be to easy... )....but we could try visiting each other at the univ we're at...maybe during weekends...during some big events...I dunno...could this be possible?
btw...are most of you considerig applying in the eastern part of the US?

mine are all centered around the illinois area.

Midwest, eh? Mine are..hmm..Massachusetts, Connecticut, Minnesota, Illinois/Iowa, Maine, Vermont... Wah...all over the place! A huge "International CC'ers meeting" would absolutely rock, if it was somehow possible. I wonder if I'll be as active in CC after I get accepted. crosses fingers I hope so!

Mine initially started off with Illi and the west, then realized I aint got no money.. LOL ;) yeah, its all East now..
