Actually it's October break at my school so we don't have school until Nov. 2. No Halloween celebration for us. I think the middle schoolers tried to organize a Halloween party and I do know on Nov. 5th (yes, SAT day), the Elementary kids are going to have a little Halloween party. :D Candy and everything. But it's not a city-thing. Though some shops carry Halloween paraphenlia. (Jeez, how do you spell this word??)

My dad's job makes us move around a lot. Truth be told, I'm horrible at learning languages. Only reason I'm fluent in English is because I started learning it as a toddler.

Banedon, you should know by now that I am very literal person. More than that, I'm a gullible as an innocent, pure child. Fell for some very obvious jokes. sigh and in person, too. Thanks for the right word.

HiLine: Oh, gah. Physics. (I'm anti-physics and anti-pink.) Good luck with that! shudders

Izzy: go anti-pink for me too :D
as for physics..I took my sat 2 in Physics, I also qualified once for the NPhO, but I'm not like in love with Phisics, it has some really interesting chapters.... but some are absolutely awful!!!!!
sort of a gulible person myself, although sometimes I am very suspicios of some persons. :p :o

Yay! I found another anti-pink-er!! Maybe yo'ure also anti-skirt? I definitely am... I only wear them when forced to in formal occasions. (Or when I have to wear my national costume)

Is there a difference between being "naive" and being "gullible" or are they synonymous?

hlvietlong: i'm taking the SAT too! nov 5th, possibly Eid Day here in Dhaka... best of luck! this is the first time i'm taking SAT I... hope i don't mess up the bubbling... any last minute tips, anyone?

izzy: yes, im bak!!!! :D i had fun, yep... would u kill me if i tell u that i also thought u were a guy the first time i saw ur nick?? :P i guess its the izzy "J" bit... sounds kinda hip-hopish, picture big guys with bling bling... hehe :P

Tips: Read. don't get paranoid about the math questions.

PACE yourself. Esp during the essay.

OHMYGOD!!!!! laughing so hard bling bling...hip hopish... I sign most of my emails with "Izzy J". choking in laughter at me being a guy If I was a guy, I'd be damn small and constantly picked on!!

hi banedon, sorry didn't see ur post then.. about the suitors... too bad the legal age for guys to marry in bangladesh is 21 while it's 18 for girls... and my bf's 18 as well... but finally i'm as old as he is (for the next 2 months at least)...

izzy: the math questions seem so easy in the practice tests but then a lot of people mess it up during the real test... is it significantly more difficult in the real one then?

....you're thinking about marriage already?? gapes Wow.

I'm not really saying it's difficult, but sometimes...well, for me, I get paranoid when a question is DAMN easy so i recheck, double check and dammit, I lose time!

Izzy, the hip hopish reason was the one that also made me tink of you as a guy. Imagine my surprise three weeks ago looking for an asian figure and seeing a girl! :p
and btw... I don't wear skirts either. so I guess we have plenty of things in common :D
kee, don't worry. the main idea of the test is to stay as focused as possible on the question you are answering. don't let your mind fly away.math isn't hard, still some careless mistakes can cost you....like it happened to me :( oh well... still have the chance to do beter next weekend :)
as a conclusion: I so hate CR!!!!! :p

Lakshmi...are you serious?? You..thought...in October, you would find an Asian MALE instead?? I...I...shocked Oh, wow, I'm sorry I shocked/surprised you! I just thought...well, then, I guess you can't really tell someone's gender based on what they write!
