International SAT I and II results!

I study at a European Language High School. That's why I feel sick when I hear the word P-H-Y-S-I-C-S:)

Hey : ))) I just noticed that you are from Bulgaria.... TOO ;)

My friend's just got a great shot in SAT 2
Math IC 760 IIC 800 Chem 770 :D
He's ED-ing to Lafayette :D

oh cool I
m re-taking the math IIC on saturday :S it
s yuckss .... i had 770 on the math IC though ... sigh

: ))) -- What about "on location"? It's outside, it's a place that either is constructed by the crew or an actual place. And I agree; I hate physics!

Banedon - I shall somehow curse and jinx that lady!! hands you punching gloves and a bag Enjoy. Bank statement dah fixed up?

Gee, wow, you found you out. It's true. I'm not exactly a female. I'm a MTF!

ABERINE, : ))))) I' so happy to see a new Bulgarian on this forum. You're welcome:) I hope you enjoy the next few months here and not get addicted to CC like most of us ;) Where are you from?

Thanks for the suggestion but I already used "movie set" and I can't change it now. Maybe they both work:)

:) thanks : ))) happy too .... from Sofia, what about you?
well I like reading this forum I will keep on visiting it even if i go to uni. :)

Another East European! :D Yay! (Asian in Romania)

There are a lot of Bulgarians at Dickinson College (in PA). So many, that a language option on the international page is Bulgarian! (So awesome!) It's usually only Australian universities that have Malay/Indonesian translated pages for intels. :)

stupid woman.

Yeah...bodoh...

God, how hard can it be to press some keys/buttons on a flat surface and to think??? Moronic woman.

Yeah most of those are friends of my brother. One just returned after he completed his bachelor .... for i don
t know what reason... and there is another who was going to go at my arabic course ........ there are really tons of Dickinsonians...... I don
t know if i like it though.......

Izzi there was a vietnamese guy in my class in the HS and he is now at princeton. and he was never any better than the average.... I guess being foreigner and having lived in bulgaria made him a way more interestng applicant....... so u have more chances than the other Romanians (and Bulgarians i guess) sigh

my story.

i needed a social science recommender, but the only social science teacher i had was Ms X, who already went to singapore for further studies. so i thought i can ask my EConomics teacher, Mrs D, who taught me part-time. Mrs D suggested that I go speak to the counselor, Mrs F. Mrs F says no, you can't use Mrs D because she doesn't teach you in school.

So Mrs F says she'll write on behalf of Ms X. My heart sank; how could she write a letter on behalf of Ms X? She doesn't know me well enough other than that i am a good student. So i asked Mrs D to write a supplementary one for me. She wrote it.

But we planned a Plan B. If something goes wrong, Mrs D agrees to write as my social science recommender, so she prepared two different recs for me; one as a supplementary, one as a main recommender. in the end, we had to use plan B. and i think it's better to send that than let uchicago wait for the missing rec which ain't that great at all.

Hey:) It seems your bad luck turned out to work for you as good luck:) But Mrs. F still deserves the stake:mad:

Aberine, I don't think I got a better chance than you or other Bulgarians or Romanians. There are a lot of international students everywhere applying. I don't have a better shot than others.

I wonder about Dickinson. I read about roads running through the campus. I can't exactly imagine that in my mind. How can it be a campus and yet so...traffic-ish? Hmmm...

And wow, you take Arabic! Always wanted to!

Banedon: You are a far-thinker. :D Able to see possible ways things could fall through, and possible solutions.

How does a main rec differ from a supplementary one?

I agree with : ))) that Mrs. F deserves the stake. Hey, some with CollegeBoard! :D

yeah. we all hate CB and Mrs F! :D
don't u worry banedon, everything is going to be alright.
since I was kinda lazy today, a late welcome wish for Aberine :)

hehe. my time in real estate. there's always the fickle-minded client who withdraw his offer at the very last minute just before we sign the S&P. you gotta always prepare for that, or you waste your time energy money petrol h/p bills, not to mention lost opportunites, in pursuing that deal.

Tsk tsk. God, my parents know all about that. We and other Malaysian workers at the embassy (3 families total :p) have had tough times finding houses when we first moved here. Contacts pulled back by the owners just before the signing, which leaves us with less suitable houses to consider, which is exacerbated (right word?) by the budget given to us for house/apartment rental...

um why is this thread slowly becoming inactive?
