<p>Colgate's on my list too. But where am I going? I don't even know my Oct SAT scores! (but I know I'm retaking in Dec;)). I decided to talk to the representative of the foundation who registered me by paper. She'll probably make up s.th.</p>
<p>Do you guys receive mail from universities you've never heard about? I've already received from 3 or 4 and I've never shown any interest in them. So sad there's no spam protection in my mail box:(</p>
<p>I also received mail from a lot of univs I don't know about. but I've also put myself in a lot of univ's mailing lists :D . just to have a broad horizon :p</p>

<p>when's the deadline for Colgate ED II? Brown's policy(where I've applied ED :D ) is that you are not alowed to apply anywhere ED/EA or ED II. I guess you could do that after yu know you are rejected, but I don't think the ED II deadline is that far away. but still, I'm not sure. you could ask the admission office of both colleges.</p>
<p>btw ppl. need to say how much I DO hate my life. and the fact that other ppl influence it. can someone explain me, why does a girl who wants to go to pton apply ED to brown just bacause she thinks another classmate of hers has better chances, and therefore makes me miserable because if someone is going to get in it's not going to be me, but her :( :mad:</p>

<p>I can't do that. Ed deadline has passed. there's no chance for me:(. I really dunno much about her ECs...hope mine are better. but if it comes to the awards she has won....she's definetely above me since she has also got an international prize at a multidisciplinary contest:( where she participated at Physics. oh well.... she most probably wants to major in Physics, I on the other hand in Math, but considering we are from the same country, with the same large need of fin aid....

<p>Well she likes princeton not brown. You Luv brown and anything brownish. I'm sure you'll be fine. Academics isn't everything you noe ... your essays could be better and you seem such a cool person I'm sure Brown would love to have you.</p>

there's not much to do for me now concerning brown, except hoping and praying. but have to be realistic.</p>

<p>well, earlier (before i fell head over heels in love with vassar) i had wanted to apply ED to middlebury... and this other guy who ED II-d to midd last time was (and still is) planning to ED as well (he got waitlisted last time). he's senior to me by a year and is a great writer. however he wrote a 1500 word essay to a 500 word essay question the last time. so this time, he decides to make his sister who's an english major (from where else... middlebury) write his essay for him. its absolutely unnecessary because he's a great writer anyway but he decides to do it because an essay written by an english major from middlebury's bound to sound much nicer. not to mention it's unethical. sad :(</p>

<p>Banedon, I get stuff from WUStL, as well. I think it's an evil thing; how often they send mail. It's encouraging us to apply even when we don't have the stats for it (just received an email from them telling me they're eagerly awaiting the Common App Supplement (something Data something) so they can know more about me! Yipeee!), so they can make its acceptance percentage smaller and thus boost its selectivity and "prestige". Bah. BAH BAH BAH!</p>

<p>Life's cruel. And nasty. There's the girl who's applying ED to Brown though she doesn't know why and there's the guy who's making someone else write his essay. The girl is nasty and selfish. But the guy must be really stupid! Nobody could write a better essay than the applicant himself, espeially if he's a good writer! I hope they both get in but don't get out :mad:</p>
<p>And how could someone not stick to their work schedule?! The woman whom I have to talk with about my Oct scores works on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. But since she rarely sticks to her schedule, she just removed it from her office door! I've had to go there several times to take some books and stuff and I had to wait for her for 40!!! When I wanted to register for the TOEFL I waiter for like an hour and she never came. Now I have to guess when she's at work! I'm so angry/sad/depressed!!! I'm maybe the only person on this forum who doesn't know their Oct scores (except for a friend of mine who also registered there! What a huge mistake!)!!! I want to learn my Oct scores but I can't. I don't want to learn my Nov scores but I will! And I've got so many things to do! Why am I on CC?</p>

<p>thank tou guys for all your support. it's not that I don't want that girl to get in. if she wants to...let her. but I want to get in also. that's my problem. I wouldn't mind both of us getting admitted.(but those chances are SO small) :(
