International SAT I and II results!

if u count they go slow rather... happened during the June SATs!

i wasn't counting this time... but vampiro reminded me!!

DON'T count ppl!!!!!!!!! it's hard enough already. :( :p

kee10, I think your scores may turn up to be not so bad. Then you won't need to explain anything. Try to relax until Oct, 24.

I think counting helps me too...

how come it helps you? for me counting means thinking all day long abou THE SAME number of days that have not yet passed. I prefer not thinking about it and then just log on to the CB website and check them out.

hmm...something fishy is going around....how come Izzy hasn't showed up yet? :p

Haven't showed up yet cause I had a play rehearsal this morn/afternoon. :p But thanks for thinkin' of me! :D

I count the days, which I guess isn't exactly healthy...and banedon, I WISH I could eat a chocolate sundae, but I can't. :( Doctor's orders.

Hey, it's 8 more days...Eight...Huit...Ocho...Opt...Lapan...ARGH!!! I want to find out my scores!!!

hmm...you might've seen I've created a thread specially for that. so you guys won't stress out the others that have so much other stuff to do besides thinking of the scores.( in the admission factors for Brown sat scores are put at the "considered section" so I might get lucky with this... obviuosly if I don't change 3 times a day the topic for my essay. :p)

Try mint tea instead of chocolate sundae. It works for me.

Lakshmi, if you don't feel like writing, do something else and try again later.

Sorry, Lakshmi. I saw the other thread after I posted at this thread. embarrassed Oooooh, "considered" I like that! It's better than "very important". cringe

Zone out in front of the TV or go outside (it's COLD!) and maybe that'll freshen you up a bit. :D

considering all the stuff I have to do for my Physics and Chem classes for tomorrow....no can't do...still....going to take a nice, hot bath :D and I'm about to write my (n+1)th version of my essay. yay! :p

You're right. A nice hot bath is better than slapping cold wind!

I haven't even started my essay... Question: Are you using Brown's own application? Are they a member of the Common App?

My history teacher has a theory that if you're applying ED to any school, use its own app, even if it's a Common App member. It'd show your committment to the school Do you think it's true?

dunno. Brown doesn't allow the use of the Common App so...yeah..I have to go by their app.I have this main essay "telling them something about me, who I am, the way I think, and what issues interest me most", one "why Brown" essay, and also one describing my activities..oh and there is also a question about who interested me in Brown....that's about it :)

doesn't applying ED show enough commitment already??

That's...counting four, dude....FOUR. I HATE the "Why ____" essays. It's hard...I'm a greedy little bugger so it's mostly "Financial aid!!" But I suppose the "Why" essays are more important for ED than RD.

aaron: Yeah, I would think so, but I guess my History teacher wants my friend to give an image that she ONLY went to the JHU site for the info and apps...Like using the Common App is backup, I guess. It usually signals you want to "spread yourself around" and aren't committed (or obsessed :p) enough to fil out each university's individual app. But I love the Common App. It's like UCAS, but UCAS is a lot quicker and easier to fill out! I managed to apply to 6 universities starting about 1 week before the deadline and got it done (also with a counselor's recommendation) the day it was due. :D)

I think I could make a great why Brown essay...of course I didn't quite get the chance to work on that yet, but I so love the school it's gonna be hard for me to fill just one half of a page :D

:p Lucky!! Have you been able to contact any current Brown students?

nope :( there's one I kinda know...but don't have his emaail adress...

A pity! I don't suppose you try Googling and seeing if he has his own website or something. :p (btw, thanks for visiting my LJ!)

well, I could ask someone for his email...but it would be kinda weird... cause I just know him from a friend of his....we haven't talked or something, we just met a couple of times by coincidence.
(I really enjoyed it..but I don't have the link anymore....you've deleted it from your profile....could you pm it to me?)

ooh you visit each other's bloggiess! can some of you PM me your bloggies?
