International SAT results November 2004

i hope it will be good :), my life's hanging on this very thin thread called the SAT I Verbal Score

Math was okay.. verbal wasnt that great for me

2 days left....

ONE DAY

Somebody... support me :p

Oh and paranoid (;)), the verbal curve hello posted on the intl sat thread:

800
800
790
770
760
740
730
710
700

I'm really hoping it'll be more lenient than that

Astrix could u plz give me some tips for the SAT II Writing essay portion, like should I fill in both the pages and should I take an eg from histry or a personal one, plz help!!

hello, 650 is way above what most intls get, I'd bet.

To answer your question, I was lucky to get an idea to write about something which I was reasonably knowledgeable of (the best decision thing - liberalizing India), and I just wrote on that, and filled up nearly all of it.

I would say go with whatever you know of, have written about already, as long as you can make it fit the topic. Don't feel compelled to insert personal/historical examples if they're out of context, or fill all the lines, since it might make your writing seem forced. As long as it feels complete, it's gotta be good :)

Worked for me, but again, this could be totally wrong advice for the SAT II Writing

"hello, 650 is way above what most intls get, I'd bet." but for Indians its more like 700.

thanx for the tips, i'll try and break 700 on the DEC SAT II Writing.

You know what astrix, almost everybody wrote on liberalizing India.
and hello,if you can manage to complete the MCQ's ,u can come back to the essay and complete it.I finished the MCQ's in around 25 min, getting 15 xtra minutes for the essay

"You know what astrix, almost everybody wrote on liberalizing India." I have a theory for that, its just that we Indians are so text book oriented, that we cant think beyond our school curriculum (ok that was a bad stereotype, but just my observation)

U're right hello

did someone say stereotype...

:)

I'm so scared, but anyway:

Maths 2c - 800
Writing - 750+
Physics - 750+

I'm trying to think optimistically.

one day LEFT.........can't bear it, I am nervous.

Less than half a day left

a couple of hours to go!!

What indian time & date are the scores exactly out on ?

Indians... check for the scores between 8 30pm and 9 30pm. Last time, they put up the scores between that time, and then took them off shortly. So make sure you get your scores before they take them down, after which their crappy site crashes so that no one can see their scores.

And date is TODAAAAAAAY (thursday)

Huh?
It specifically says on the collegeboard website that scores don't come out till Nov 19th.
Today's only Nov 18th... chill out guys, still one day left!
It's still Thursday morning in America...
