Haha Guy yess. I became pretty depressed seeing all these scores too! I Luckily it’s not all sats:p good luck in Jan! Everyone scores higher the second time, dont worry

I wish I could retake the SAT I in January…

I am back from the iceskating thing btw, obviously (16 hours ago).
All these scores on here make me depressed too!

So far, we’ve got:

Literature
690, 780

Spanish
800

And post more scores so that we can see what internationals are getting this year!

We should definitely do a thread like this once the decisions are mailed out. An “actual stats” thread for internationals only, so we can demystify the international admission a bit

Excellent scores, Bilguun, but I fail to understand why you tried to score 800 in math and chemistry more than once. And how the hell did you manage to take the SATs for at least 15 times? :)

Urhmm… Emils, that was a composed list of all scores mentioned in this thread. Learn to read, it might improve your scores.

^Jeez GB, that last bit was unnecessary.

Um, I guess I’ll bite.

800 CR 800 W 550 M (I know, ouch. This is totes gonna KILL me.)
800 Lit. Taking USH and Bio in Jan.

Indian (Asian!) international (Double ouch for my math score, haha.)

hahaah. Emils, I don’t think there’s anyone who would take the SAT that many times.

And yeah, I guess this will become very interesting when we do actual results thread for only internationals, since (I guess?) there hasn’t been a thread like that before. I can see such a thread being very useful to future international applicants.

Keep the scores coming people!

Sorry, his post just seemed overly sarcastic. Serious lack of sleep.

My ridiculously bad scores:

M: 660 ; W: 690; CR: 690

SAT II:
World History: 710
Literature: 740
Latin: Misbubbling drama: 560.
Maths II, Physics and possibly Bio or Lit: Pending.

Lol at the misbubbling drama. It sucks. That happens in my nightmares.

Edit: I’m not being mean, in case your serious lack of sleep makes you think I am. :)

OK, I didn’t read the first sentence which says ‘So far we got’. I was skimming the thread and stopped at the scores.

FA: yes

SAT
670 CR
710 Math
700 Writing (essay 6 out of 12, fail)

I don’t like the math score, but I had no chance to retake the test

SAT Subject Tests
Biology E 730
Math I 800

TOEFL: 114 (R:30 L:29 S:27 W:28)

Hong Kong applicant, no FA.
My scores are the only things worth mentioning. I have horrible ECs, grades and recommendations.

SAT I

680 Writing (8 essay - I think internationals tend to do better in the MCs)
2260 Total

800 World History

^^If only I had your scores. He has a “pointless” 800!!!

thebigcheese121:
Most native speakers receive a 800 in Chinese. I only took it because I got mediocre grades for Chinese in secondary school and wanted to prove I’m not that horrible in it.

Well, I suppose that you are right.

So far, we’ve got:

Since we are doing this, I thought we might as well include TOEFL scores here.

ROFL I love the misbubbling drama in the parantheses.

You must have added my Math I score to the Math II section. I guess I was the only one who took Math I.

Hahaha, Misbubbling drama <3 Its still frustrating, because it was the only one I had studied for!
