I was seeing some International SAT threads coming up lately but I have no idea what that means.

Does it mean that there is a different SAT test for students outside the U.S?

I have taken the SAT once before and I am not from the U.S. I remember that after the test I went to the usual discussion threads to kind of see how many mistakes I had and the questions being discussed in that thread for that particular test seemed to have the same questions as the SAT I took outside the U.S

So I am not really sure what the International SAT is about? Pardon me for my ignorance. Clarifications would be appreciated.

Because of time differences, College Board may give a somewhat different test in other countries than the US (you can’t have people calling from France and giving a lot answers to US test-takers before the US test-takers walk into the room to take it). How much different is something CB does not tell and it could be mainly a rearrangement of the order of the sections and questions.

The SAT is designed in a way that the results from one sitting can be compared to another sitting, so even if the international test was different, it would not be unfair.
However, I took the SAT in africa last may and I remember participating to the discussion about it later on CC. I think they had the same test in the USA
