Hello, I’m an international student and I’m having some troubles with the application
It would be wonderful if my teachers and counselors could submit their application offline, but I haven’t found precise information about this
Is it possible to submit transcript, secondary school report, teacher and counselor letters offline (mailing them to the school)? Can I download the forms or the teachers and counselor will have to create an account and print them from there?
If someone could help me it would be a relief!
Many colleges are used to applicants having to send part of their application through the mail - I am sure MIT is no exception.
Having said that, it’s not like you are from Inner Mongolia. I think that the teachers and counselors can figure out how to do their part online. As an applicant, I would spend the few minutes to walk them through the procedure than rely on your country’s notoriously unreliable postal service.
No, I’m not from Inner Mongolia, but I didn’t want to stress my teacher too much, since they already have to deal with something they have never heard about before. I don’t think they would refuse if the only option were the online submission, but it would be nice to know more about the offline process.
I was being facetious.
• Print form
• Give to teacher with a stamped envelope
• Teacher fills out
• Teacher puts into the envelope provided and mails
But really, unless the teacher is 95 years old, s/he would probably prefer the online option.
I meant that I couldn’t find the forms, but it’s okay since today I talked to her and she agreed to do everything online in the end. Probably the other teacher will do the same
Anyway thank you
Anyway, in Italy most of our teachers aren’t used to do things “the modern way”, that’s why I was worried
