International Seeking for Aid

@paul2752 not for EA. and the FA has come out,and is AWESOME that it covers all the cost.

Perfect!
If you have made up your mind going to Colorado College, then you need to apply for visa as soon as possible…you can ask people in international forum, or me :-)

^ Applying for visas does not work that way.

I meant that op will have get i 20 asap and apply for visa either in us or in her home country.

As someone who has gone through this process, I must say that 1) OP will get OPs i20 after enrolling at a school 2) there is no need to worry about it right now (visa process begins post April)

Well it depends on where s/he applies( I have been through that awful process)

If s/he applies in the US, it will take up at least 3~5 months, or worse, longer than that.

however if she goes back to country to get a visa, it won’t take that long.

I applied for visa on early May but it came out so late that I have had to defer my admission from fall to spring

I know it’s an old thread, but I got an update: admitted to Carleton College with Starr Int’l Scholarship

Congrats. That’s amazing. Only 6 full scholarships are available, and getting 1 is impressive.!
