I'm a 'HongKonger' who's born in Canada.
I'm triligual - both Cantonese and Mandarin Chinese, English, and a bit of German learned from school.
Studying in a prep school for 3 years, i got an average gpa of around 3.0.
my toefl is 110, sat is CR530, M750, W630, and ACT 28.
I've done quite a lot of ECs, including the school jv basketball team and other vonlunteering work back at home.
I applied quite late - the last document was received on 1/31, one day before the deadline.
Appreciate any comments.

i'm not really familiar with the specifics of the admissions process now. I applied 4 years ago, back then, they cared the most about GPA, out of state, you need a 3.5+ gpa at a very minimum, unless you are a recruited athlete. If i were you, i'd apply to private schools that give good financial aid, private schools look at SAT2 scores and ECs more. I would post this in the general Umich category, because there isn't much traffic for individual class topics, Alexandre should answer your question better. Hope I helped a little bit.

u definitely did, thank you v much!

waitlisted.
