I am applying for financial aid at the following institutions:
1. Harvard
2. Yale
3. Princeton
4. Dartmouth
5. UChicago

My parents' combined income is less than USD30,000 per year. However, our family owns two apartments that are for rent. Does that factor into how the financial aid is determined?

Being an international student, I am quite confused on how the FinAid application works for the 5 colleges above. I understand UChicago requires me to fill up the International Student Financial Aid Form and upload it to my Applicant account. What about the other 4?

Sorry for asking so many questions! It's just that the information I find online are pertinent to US citizens and not so much for non-US citizens.

UChicagos forms were due the 3rd for regular decision.

Dartmouth ( assuming your parents live in US) need you to file IDOC & PROFILE.

Info for each school can be found on their site.

I imagine information about your parents rental properties will be disclosed on PROFILE.

I would concentrate on getting the forms in for the other schools ( Feb 1 is deadline for Dartmouth)- and accept that you might not get enough aid at Uchicago.

Go ahead and file, but sure to have back up schools as well.
