International Student Bank Verification

The email I received asks for two items: the International Student Certification of Finances and the International Student Bank Verification.

I haven't been able to find this International Student Bank Verification anywhere on the website. Seriously, this document does not seem to exist. I'm kind of confused. Is it the same thing as the Certification of Finances? Or am I just looking in the wrong spot? ( Any help would be appreciated

you get the certificate of finance from collegeboard.com and the bank statement is something you get from your bank. it's a document that tells us how much you have left in your bank account. they make you do that because Financial Aid is not given out to international students so they want to know if you can actually pay for the school tuition. there is no reason for JHU to accept you knowing that you can't pay for it you know.

International Student Certification of Finances form:
<a href="http://apply.jhu.edu/pdf/2009/application_international_finances.pdf%5B/url%5D">http://apply.jhu.edu/pdf/2009/application_international_finances.pdf</a></p>

The form must be sent to the Admissions Office with additional documentation attached, such as a bank statement and/or sponsor letter.
