Hey guys, first hope here on this wonderful website, I've seen you guys all being so helpful and now I have a pretty tough choice here in front of me.
Okay, so I am a student from Austria and study the IB program, my school doesn't rank but i have maybe a 42,43 predicted, out of 45. 2110 on SAT but I'll do them again in Oct,
I have very good ECs, am a national president of an organization of 1000+ members, and have had internship abroad.
Should I apply for Stanford SCEA?! I've also been playing the violin, however I haven't recorded anything yet, I'm thinking of sending an art supplement along with my application and I def will request financial aid. I'm just debating that since Stanford is need based for international, will I just get defered directly?
my biggest concern is that since Stanford is need aware for international students, will I just get defereed directly even tho i might would have gotten in without requesting FA?
ANY OPINION IS MUCH APPRECIATED!!!!!!
Thanks,
R.

Stanford has it’s choice of top Australian students, many of whom need no aid, so you will have to present an extraordinary picture beyond good IB results and considerably higher scores.

emm… Austria isn’t exactly Australia…we don’t have kangaroos
but how high a score do you think I shall get? and since i need aid, will it not beneficial for me to apply early due to all competitions? thanks,
