Hi, I am a U.S Citizen who has lived in Kazakhstan for the past 7 years. I am ethnically Kazakh. I attended an international school and took the IBDP.
Here are my predicted scores:

Math HL - 6
Chemistry SL - 5

Russian B SL - 5
Bonus points - 2-3
Total = 35-36

Student Council executive member for 5 years
MUN, President/Chairperson 3 years

Photography club - 1 year

Lots of community service from CAS (150+ hours)

I live in Kazakhstan and have to deal with alot of international culture and hope that this will make a difference in my application. I think that the diversity that I experienced and the diversity that I will bring to the uni will be valued.

My tests

SAT Math II - 660
SAT BioE - 640

ACT - I expected somewhere from a 29-31

I think my essays are solid and show that I have a range of interests.

And I am applying to the following unis

University of Virginia
University of Rochester
University of California:Berkeley
Lehigh University
Syracuse University
Washington University in St.Louis
Rochester Institute of Technology
Johns Hopkins University

I know its a big list, but to be honest I am just applying to Brown, Cornell and JHU out of curiosity. I really dont expect to get in.

oh and I took the IGCSEs in the 10th grade. Its on my transcript but i dunno if it will count for anything:
English Language - A*
English Literature - A
History - A
Business - B
Science - B
Extended Math - B
Additional Math - C

You are not considered international, if you hold U.S. citizenship

But the college will consider the the location where op has studied

^ yes, as a cultural experience

I'm really hoping you have some safety schools too. Who knows, your experience may trump stats, but if it doesn't all of your schools are reaches except maybe Syracuse if you can pay full freight.

i know, i thought that i'd be considered U.S citizen applicant but when I emailed them they said that I am considered international because I've studied abroad for over 5 years.
except RIT, i think thats the only uni that considers me as a U.S applicant rather than international.

either way, are my IB scores considered to be horrible? i mean i looked up on their site about credit and I should get at credit for all my HL subjects for most Unis.
