International Student Chances for top schools?

Hi! I'm a student from the UK and I am very interested in going to the US for university. I would like to go to a school that's relatively well-known internationally, since I'll probably return to England for employment. My financial situation is a worry. I am from a single parent family and the income is £20 000, which is about $32 000 the last time I checked. I am very open to any and all ideas! I did not attend a private school, and I am currently attending othe best state college in my city of 2 500 000 people (16-18 year olds go here). I am 17 so will be applying next year, and I have just taken the SAT tests. Any advice is greatly appreciated, I am seriously confused and worried. I have heard HYPSM aren't predictable at all, so could I be chanced for other schools? I will be applying to a few, but generally only those that offer needs blind admission and could fully finance my years in college. I accept that there aren't that many of them (Apparently only Amherst College, Dartmouth College, Harvard University, MIT, Princeton University, and Yale University). Do you think it's even worth applying to other universities? I would like suggestions for what to do, please help? Here are the basics;

Please help!? bumpity bump

You definitely have a chance at these top schools. For most of the schools that you’re applying to, they’ll probably be reach schools, as they are with every applicant. Your 500+ volunteer hours will definitely improve your hours. There are many other universities that have blind admissions.

Good Luck.
