@Idiosyncra3y = You understand very well french. I am in the USA since 5 months and on the January SAT I score a 1840. Do you think I have chances to go in HYPSC, W&L, NYU or Mcgill?

Yes I did learn english in France but when I arrived in WV 6 months ago, First I couldn’t understand anything and second I had a bad writting and speaking skill … :)

I think you’re in at McGill. Your SATs hold you back for Harvard, but your TOEFL might make up for it. I agree that a 580 after 5 months is excellent.
Your SAT IIs might need some pushing as well…

Lol i know that it is not a hard class but apparently for WV it is one of the hardest class of their entire High school … so you don’t think i am in for all my universities just for Mcgill ? do you think that Mcgill is a good one? Do I need to keep hoping for an ivy or according to you it is not possible ?

You are fine, you have impressive class rank, great GPA, great ECs…
Your SAT scores are pretty low for most of the Ivies.
Your problem is that since your SAT scores do not correlate with your rank, your rank does not get its spotlight (adcoms will assume grade inflation)
