Hi. I'm a high school student from Switzerland and I'm applying to college in the U.S since my family's moving there next June.
Here we go: I'm a 16 year-old male (white-middle eastern) of Iranian origin who lives in Switzerland. I speak four languages fluently (French, English, German, Farsi) and I am finishing high school in June of this year.
I have already passed the first half of my state exams (A-levels equivalent, basically), and my grades were: History 6/6 Physics 6/6 biology 6/6 chemistry 5.5/6 geography 5/6 Visual arts 4/6
The other subjects I have to pass exams in (end of this year) are: Advanced Maths, English, German, French, PAM (physics and applied maths), Philosophy. I am taking the SAt 2 weeks from now and am expecting around 2000 overall score (aiming for 800 in math). I will also take a physics and math 1 subject test next month.
Last year, my school report was:
Math : 5.5/6
French : 5.5/6
English 5.5/6
German : 4.5/6
Geography : 5.5/6
History 4.5/6
PAM : 5.5/6
Visual Arts : 4/6
Chemistry : 5.5/6
Biology : 5/6
Physics : 5.5/6
and I didn't have philosophy.

Extracurricular activities: In Switzerland, we barely have any activities in the school, so I don't have much to offer in this field. Basically :
-I play chess in a club and with my dad regularly
-I swim a few times a week on my own and take lessons twice a week
-I do some programming (self-taught)
-I used to play Ice Hockey
-I snowboard in the winter (as anyone living in Switzerland should)

I have never had a job or done voluntary work.
I will have some very good recommendations from teachers with whom I get along really well, and the counselor likes me as well.
I'm applying to:

-MIT
-Cornell
-Columbia
-UMass Amherst
-NYU
-SUNY Binghamton
-Harvard

(SUNY and UMass are really just fallback positions, hoping to at least get into NYU, if not better)

So what do you think? Thanks in advance for your answers, they'll help me know where to put myself in all of this.

PS: I know I will never get an accurate prediction, I just have nobody to compare myself to.
