International Student. Chances?

I'm a 16 y/o Indian in my final year of high school (Grade XII). My academic result in 11th grade wasn't very good but it's been decent otherwise. I don't know the exact procedure to convert percentage to GPA but I tried a few scales and it is about 3.6. I'm a national level athlete and am expecting >2200 on the SAT, which I'll be taking next month. I'm looking to major in Physics.

What I'd like to know is what my chances are, and what I should do in the few months of high school remaining, to improve them.
Thank you :)

wait till you get your sat in. national athlete should help

Well focus on improving your GPA. SAT score is pretty good and its nice to be a national level athlete. You have a good shot at getting in, and you would probably love it here.

depends on what sport? like cricket would be very impressive… basketball, not so much

@manav95 : I have two more set of exams whose scores I’ll be sending along with my application so I’m going to try my best for those :D

@College123college : Track and field. :)

Also, I wrote to the Track and Field coach at GT but he hasn’t replied yet. :(

Georgia Tech loves International Students, so that is always good! The SAT average for the class of 2013 was a 2150 and the GPA average a 3.995. Do not get down if a coach hasnt replied to you. It is only the summer and college coaches are being inundated by potential athletes so it takes them a while to respond to them all. i think your chances are good! Best of luck in the application!
