Hi everyone !!
I'm actually attending an american system college in Morocco. i would like to know how would i be International Student and benefit from scholarships! and If iwant to have a scholarship for a Master in US, should I begin the process from now ?! ( Freshman)
help me please!! i would really appreciate any suggestions!

i think you get scholarships for masters level on the basis of your GRE score.
when you get good score you get a scholarship.
r u going top give gre?

I think there are no real scholarships (free money) for graduate students. Instead graduate students get fellowships and teaching assistantships (money they have to work for). A good time to start thinking about graduate school is junior year. Right now enjoy your college experience!

"I think there are no real scholarships (free money) for graduate students."

thats not really right- my father got a complete scholarship at graduate level . but yeah that was some time ago.

Sorry. Maybe there are some scholarships, but more common (and probably easier to get) are fellowships and teaching assistantships.

thats true- i just confirmed and my dad told me that the scholarship was given to only 10 students(including domestic) every year. And that was UIUC.

Thank you so much guys.

To Yuna.

Thanks Yuna for Replying, I'm just Freshman, I think of taking this GRE , is it like SAT or something, and then when i take it , how Will I proceed ?

To b@r!um

Thanks b@r!um for Replying, I totally agree, It would be great if I get a Scholarship in my Senior year, Should I proceed for a transfer or something? and what I would take as a Test in order to rank me for a Scholarship?. What didi you mean by teaching assistantships?

Teaching assistants are students who teach introductory courses, hold review sessions (TA sessions) or grade homework. In exchange (graduate) TAs do not pay tuition and often get a stipend on top of that to pay for their living costs. Teaching assistantships are probably the most common form of financial aid for graduate students.

The GRE is offered twice a year. You should take it either in the February of your junior year or in the October of your senior year.

Wow.. Thank you so much b@r!um !! ;)
