<p>You need to understand the information. In India, it’s just cramming and memorizing stuff. Go to your professor, ask them questions that you don’t understand. Do research online. Make a study group. There are many ways to seek out help for your exams.</p>
<p>Yes, understand it. Use examples given to you and maybe toy around with them a little bit if you can. Try writing your own things from scratch that deal with your current material. Do problem sets without peeking at answers, understand the book, and if your books have “summaries of facts and concepts” like some of mine then try to know how to apply those to problems.</p>
