International student - how to improve chances

Hey,

I would be thankful if you could chance me, but most important - how I can improve chances for college admission in the US.

I'm a sophomore in the Danish high school. Last year I was an exchange student in the US and thus I speak fluently English (along with Danish). It was an amazing experience and has taught me how well you can get along despite how different you are. Next year I'll switch to an IB school with math, english and danish at higher level.

My grades are really good and I'm doing well and will get great recs. - the thing is that extra curricular activities is not common in Denmark. Still I have managed to start a debate club at my school in which national politicians come to speak and debate. I am a voluntary homework tutor in one of the most troubled areas of my country, helping children who might not else get a chance to do better in school. I am a former elite fencer, did tournaments throughout Northern Europe and went to training camps in Boston.

I'm really passionate about these activities and enjoy them so much. Through the debate I have seen many people foster passion for debate and political involvement which is so amazing to see. I really enjoy tutoring and (hopefully) creating a passion for learning and academics that will (hopefully) end up in those students going to college and getting themselves well off.

I am going to major in economics in college. The subject is purely amazing and I am certain how much I will enjoy studying it. I just can't wait to be studying it at college level! I'm reading many books in the subject in my spare time and find it ever more fascinating and complex the further I get.

The thing is that I'm afraid not having pages and pages of extra curriculars, like many top US candidates will make me a weak applicant.

How can I improve my extra curriculars, along with good SAT scores (around 2200), to be attractive to a highly selective colleges in the US?

Which colleges should I go for, with a 4.0 GPA and around 2200 SAT score?

Hope you can help!
