are u looking at majoring jazz studies for drums or classical percussion? jazz studies belongs to ethnomusicology department and there is no graduate program in that~ Clayton Cameron teaches the drums for jazz. As for percussion, classical, there is a graduate program.

UCLA is looking almost definitely not an option. Basically, they don’t allow second bachelor degrees. My degree is considered an undergraduate degree therefore i can’t study. It’s too late to transfer as I am a senior. I’ve researched Grad. Apparently my degree doesn’t count as a Bachelor’s that would allow me to do a graduate degree. Apparently it needs to be a four year degree and mine is a 3 year degree. Therefore UCLA just don’t want me

I’m slap bang in the middle of not being allowed to do either. But oh well. Looks like my UCLA days are over. I had a great time while i was there for a year and i’ll just have to remember that.

Still applying to all the others though. I might still send something into UCLA just for the hell of it

Be careful with what you post. These boards aren’t as “confidential” as you might think - and as you listing your identity and publicly outweigh pros and cons of all these schools, keep in mind that admissions officiers and faculty (i.e. the very people that decide whether to accept you) might be among the lurkers reading these posts.

Really? Of those types are lurkers it sure would be nice if they contributed.

I tried to have my identity removed and it hasn’t been done yet. I wasn’t thinking when i wrote the first post. Hopefully the admin will do it soon
