International Student:Need help

So here is the problem. Our country's educational system is different from US; we have total of 11 classes, so students go to universities after finishing 11th class. How should I explain this?

Does your school have the U.S. equivalent of a guidance counselor? If so, it would be appropriate for him or her to explain the grade situation in the recommendation. Also, high schools here generally attach with each transcript a school profile that provides the admissions office with the necessary background information, such as the courses offered, etc. The fact that there are only eleven years of education for you can also be noted there.

Also, are you from a country that frequently sends students to the U.S.? Many U.S. colleges have admission representatives that specialize in reading apps from certain regions of the world, so these schools may already be familiar with the difference in the number of grades.

If you want to note the situation yourself, I think you can also briefly explain it in the additional information section. Or, if it is possible, perhaps contact the admissions office of the college you have in mind: give them a phone call, for they are usually very eager to help.
