Have you explored the options in your home country as affordable safety schools?
The ONLY safety you have is in India. It will take time and money and a lot of luck to apply and get into a university in the US or Europe. There is a lot of competition, and everyone expects you to have decent access to the Internet and to know how to use it. Please know, that there is NOT very much financial aid for international students in the US. And the competition from other Indians is HUGE. Really, the odds are against you, as an international student from India looking for a lot of financial aid. There are thousands of students competing for a limited amount of money offered by not very many schools in all of America.
The only safety is a university where your stats guarantee you acceptance + enough scholarship.
Alright. Thank you.
@Dodgers1 First of all, I did not ask for advice on how to study physics. The Internet is absolutely not a requirement to learn science. I do not know how to use the internet because it is something I am not interested in. And the questions I asked aren’t elementary, I just asked them to be double sure about the dates, deadlines and procedures. It is a duty of every member of this website to answer the questions of every single person as far as I know. I asked for a safety outside India, because I have already searched options in India. I have done my homework.
I DON’T KNOW HOW TO USE THE INTERNET PROPERLY because it is a complete wastage of time. The internet is useless for me.
Which universities in Canada do I have a chance at?
Actually, it’s not. We’re all volunteers trying to guide others the best we can. But in order to be successful the people coming here for information have to put in some effort.
If you don’t know how to do basic research and don’t care to learn (or put any effort into things you don’t want to do) you won’t make it in a US college. Both of those are important skills and needed for college success.
I’m sorry there’s no safety for you outside of your home country. A lot of US kids don’t have safeties here either. College is expensive. If you have an affordable option in India, I’d take it.
No one can give you “the dates, deadlines and procedures” because every university and college will be different. (And in the US there are more than 3,000 colleges and universities.) This is an American site, so there’s a limited number of people here who can give you details about European schools. But they, too, give all the information you need over the internet. Finally, basic internet usage is a requirement of 21st century life. It’s OK if you don’t want to learn the basics – your choice – just don’t expect everyone else to do the work for you.
Respectfully, I believe using the internet could be helpful if your interest is serious. While reading this thread, I noted around 10 suggestions by posters pointing you towards various avenues for you to learn more and explore. Only you can decide what is worthy of your follow-up. Didn’t mean to offend–good luck.
You’re not expected to join social media, play online games, etc. But you ARE expected to know how to use a browser (Google, duckduck, ecosia, Bing, whatever you like), sort through results and distinguish between useful, useless, and false, being able to quote properly, using study websites like Khan Academy, etc. Being able to do research online is typically a required middle school skill. You will have to master it before you study anywhere. .In addition, in the US and in Europe, your learning environment will be managed online. In short, try to figure out the essentials. Look up Digital Literacy on Crash Course.
Okay. Thanks for commenting!
Are there any ‘Target’ schools within budget for me in Europe? Iam asking this question because someone said that Germany and France have some schools within budget.
You did you don’t speak either language and that’s going to be an issue.
In Germany look up: HochSchule + English- language + Physics.
@MYOS1634 You said that one can learn the German language in 18 months for studying in Germany. That is why I asked you about Germany.
Yes, but you have to look it up as well as Fachhochschule in English.
Learning a language to the level of proficiency needed to complete a college education in something like physics won’t be an easy task. I wouldn’t worry about where you might be able to apply in Germany until you’re fluent in the language.
