Hi everyone,
I am international student . I am really interested in Engineering program of ISU . Moreover, a pretty low COA is another factor that make me want to attend ISU more. However, since I am an international student, I need to do everything to lower what I have to pay ( less stress for mt parents ) . My stats is :
GPA : 3.6 /4
SAT : 1310 ( M + CR)
Can you tell me How much money can I get with my stats?
Thank you so much.
@Shindly The page I linked to below details university-wide scholarships for international students. Even the lower-level $4000/year is a significant amount off their already-low OOS tuition rates.
The college of engineering also gives out scholarships (no application required). My OOS son received one.

Yes I have seen that before but the details stats requirements are not listed on the sites. Can you tell me your son stats ( if it is comfortable for you ) ? How much is the department 's scholarship?
I am going to retake the SAT on Jan 23 so should I apply first with my currents SAT score and then send my Jan’s score to appeal the scholarship amount up when it comes out on Feb 11 or Just wait until Feb 11 ?
All your helps are appreciated .
@Shindly The departmental scholarship is for $3500, renewable for one year. Since it’s my son’s information, and not my own, I don’t want to specify his stats, but he does have a high gpa, class rank, and ACT score.
I think I would wait to apply until you have your new SAT score.
@Mtriplee
Thank you for your information, it is really helpful. Moreover, I found this pdf but dont know if it also apply for international or not. And is it appropriate for this year too ?
@Shindly The scholarships you linked to are for Indiana residents, and there are same/similar awards for students from other states. (I believe the award amounts and criteria are the same for this year.)
I would guess that they offer the international student scholarship to take the place of these state-specific awards.
@Mtriplee Thanks . that pdf is the only info I can find on the Internet.
